APPH: AT A GLANCE
The Association of Pilots and Hangar Owners of Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu (APPH) was founded in 2003. Our goal is to promote our shared passion for aviation and to see this large family of ours grow. The association is managed by a team of dedicated volunteers, all of whom share a deep love of aviation in all its forms.
Our members are invited to participate in monthly events all year long. We also organize an annual event
allowing youth to experience their first experience with aviation (COPA for kids) which is now the largest
event of its kind in Canada, seeing more than 250 participants and bringing more than 1000 people to the
airport.
Our Members
Our members are principally aviators, student pilots, amateur aircraft builders, aeronauts, and hobbyists. The
one common thread shared by all of our members is their engagement, and in 2019 approximately 80% of
our members took part in at least one event.
